Natural Black Hair Styling Ideas
Are you looking for an easy way to deal with your
natural hair? Look at the picture on the left. The woman in
the photo has natural kinky textured afro hair which she
has styled in a unique way. What she has done is used some
Northwest Scents hair conditioner
after washing her hair to produce waves in her hair.
To accomplish this, while her hair was still damp
after washing, she combed
Northwest Scents hair conditioner
through her hair, squeezed out the excess, styled her
hair the way she wanted it, and then tied a scarf over
her hair for about 30 minutes. At the end of this
process she has waves. In this case, the lady in the
photo has bangs, and the rest of the hair she combed
into a roll which she secured with bobby pins and hair
combs.
In this photo, the lady has worked with her natural
afro textured hair in a similar way to the lady in the
photo above. She styles it by pulling her hair back loosely
and secures the ends with a braid which she tucks under.
She then wears a fabric headband around the front of her
hair.
This wet-styling technique lends itself to many different
possibilities. Natural afro textured hair, if it is healthy
and in good condition, can by styled using conditioners,
water, a comb, and a scarf to set the hair in place. The
hair can be short, medium length, or long. The length of
the hair determines the styling possibilities.
